Creating an Interaction
As a result of interaction, cells of one type have one or another effect on cells of another type.
To create an interaction in a model, you need to:
Click LMB on the icon
on the toolbar.Click LMB on a cell type that will affect another cell type in one way or another.
Click LMB on the cell type on which this or that action will be performed.
After this, a red arrow will appear on the diagram, directed from one type of cell that has an effect to another, on which the action is performed.
To configure the parameters of the created interaction, you need to right-click on the arrow on the diagram indicating this interaction, and in the drop-down list, click on the Edit button.
After this, in the window that appears, you need to set the parameters of the interaction to be changed:
Title: title of the interaction,
Comment: comment,
Cell type: name of the type of cells on which the action is performed (unchangeable!),
Attack rate: attack intensity,
Fuse rate: intensity of fusion of two cells,
Phagocytosis rate: intensity of phagocytosis.
Note
When two cells merge, the resulting cell will have 2 nuclei, but when one cell engulfs another as a result of phagocytosis, the first will have only one nucleus.
Once all parameters have been set, click Ok.
Чтобы удалить взаимодействие из модели, необходимо нажать на него ЛКМ и нажать клавишу Delete.
Если вы работаете в веб-версии BioUML, то для удаления нужно:
