Volume of the cell and its compartments (Volume)

After clicking on the Volume tab in the properties panel on the right, you will have a menu that displays the cell volume parameters.

  • Total volume: total cell volume,

  • Fluid fraction: fraction of fluid in the cell volume,

  • Nuclear: volume of the cell nucleus,

  • Fluid change rate: rate of change in the amount of fluid in the cell,

  • Cytoplasmic biomass change rate: rate of change in the volume of the cell cytoplasm,

  • Nuclear biomass change rate: rate of change in the volume of the cell nucleus,

  • Calcified fraction: calcified fraction of the cell,

  • Calcification rate: rate of cell calcification,

  • Relative rapture volume: the relative value of the cell volume at which membrane rupture occurs.

You can change the value of each parameter by clicking LMB on the value to the right of the corresponding parameter and entering your own value.
