Cell integrity and damage (Integrity)

After clicking on the Integrity tab in the properties panel on the right, you will have a menu that displays the cell integrity and damage parameters.

  • Damage rate: rate of damage to cells of a given type for 1 step of updating the internal state of cells (Phenotype dt; set when setting up the model simulation),

  • Damage repair rate: the rate at which the cell “recovers” from damage caused.

Note

The damage rate does not depend on other types of cells; the cell itself is simply damaged over time.

You can change the value of each parameter by clicking LMB on the value to the right of the corresponding parameter and entering your own value.
